MD/DC Faithful Catholics On Web

Faithful Catholics of MD/DC, Inc., organized to help restore and preserve the Catholic faith in Maryland and Washington, D.C., has established a website, www.Restore-DC-Catholicism.com.

The website aims to expose anomalies that have occurred within the Washington Archdiocese over the past several years, particularly regarding pro-life concerns.

According to webmaster Janet Baker, the website exists to encourage and empower local Catholics to take an active role in restoring the Culture of Life to top priority in the archdiocese.

The site provides links to Catholic and pro-life organizations, and can serve as a vehicle for networking these Catholics.  It also provides contact information for Vatican officials and various media outlets so faithful Catholics can make their voices heard.

The site urges Catholics to contact Cardinal McCarrick and ask him to be a bishop who renders not just lip service to pro-life concerns, but real leadership.

Many have been sorely disappointed in His Eminence in this regard, particularly in light of his apparent willingness to offer Communion to flagrant pro-abortion Catholics, thus being an accessory to the sin of sacrilege.

The website urges Catholics to petition Rome to immediately accept the Cardinal’s resignation, which he will tender on his 75th birthday in 2005, and to replace him with a faithful successor.
